Scanfill attended Fachpack in Nuremberg from September 23-25. Three days filled with inspiration, exciting meetings, and sustainable material solutions. We had the opportunity to speak with both new and familiar faces about the future of packaging and showcase our wide range of material options.
We also took the opportunity to introduce our new sales representative, Tobias, who will be on hand to help our customers find the right foil for their packaging needs.
In addition, we brought along our dear friend: the popcorn machine! It served wonderfully fragrant and flavored popcorn throughout the fair – perfect for a little break during the busy fair.
To everyone who visited our stand – thank you so much for all the inspiring conversations and for sharing your ideas and experiences about the future of sustainable packaging. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and helping you find materials that make a real difference!
What we showcased at our booth
We showcased our broad range of films and material solutions in PP, PS, and PET, based on both virgin and recycled content. Among these, we particularly highlighted Prevented Ocean Plastic™ rPET, a certified raw material made from plastic that would otherwise risk ending up in the ocean – an example of how smart material choices can reduce carbon footprint without compromising functionality.
One of the main highlights we presented was Degrafoil Flow 1.7from Sulapac – a bio-based and industrially compostable material developed for thermoforming. With Sulapac’s material, we had the opportunity to demonstrate how it combines a premium feel with clear environmental benefits for those seeking fossil-free alternatives.
