What a week in Düsseldorf!

Oscar, Niklas, Tobias and Markus at the first day of Interpack 2026.

Interpack delivered exactly what the packaging industry thrives on: innovation, circular solutions, new regulations and plenty of discussions about what comes next for the packaging industry. And plenty of coffee of course.

At our booth, we presented both our current material portfolio and teased something completely new for food packaging applications – a development where performance, safety and sustainability are designed to work together, without compromise.

Judging by the response at the booth, the timing could not have been better.

And for those who missed it… stay tuned.

Safe to say, our booth stayed busy throughout the week. We had many visitors stopping by, and it seemed like our stand design managed to catch a fair amount of attention too.

One Stop Shop? Yes please.

Many discussions centred around one important question: how do you stay flexible in a rapidly changing packaging market?

That is where our One Stop Foil Shop concept created strong interest. By combining multiple polymer options, reliable material availability, on-site support and long-term supply security, we help customers simplify everyday production while preparing for future requirements.

As part of the Polykemi Group, we also offer the strength, expertise and stability needed in a market where material demands continue to evolve.

Materials in the spotlight

We also had many great discussions around our material portfolio.

And if we’re being honest… PP definitely stole the show this year.

The strong interest in PP-based solutions made one thing very clear: this material category continues to play a key role in the future of food packaging.

Especially in demanding applications, companies are looking for solutions that can meet high performance requirements while supporting evolving sustainability goals.

Now the real marathon begins.

Our team is currently busy following up on all the interesting meetings and discussions from the fair. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth — whether we discussed future material demands, packaging challenges or just survived another day of trade fair walking together.

And if you would like to continue the conversation, you are more than welcome to contact us. We are always happy to talk packaging, materials… or life in general.
