September 24-26, it’s time for Fachpack 2024, and we at Scanfill will be there to showcase our innovative and sustainable solutions for plastic packaging.
Scanfill is a foil manufacturer with a wide product catalog offering packaging materials in PP, PET and PS, both based on virgin materials and recycled raw materials, as well as with various additives for specific needs. With us, you can find the right material for your packaging that combines functionality with minimal environmental impact.
Our products are available in two series: Scanfoil, our traditional series with materials based on PP, PET or PS, and Scanfill Foil, where half of the material consists of mineral, which provides unique properties and sustainability benefits.

A sustainable perspective
At Scanfill, we place great value on our materials being both climate-smart and material-smart, from the time they are manufactured to the day they are ready for recycling.
Since different materials have different environmental impacts, it is important to see the big picture.
The fact is that the material with the lowest inherent environmental impact is not always the one that is most beneficial to either the environment or our climate.
It is important to find the optimal packaging material for each product and thus reduce the environmental impact of the packaging.
“We help you choose the right material for the right packaging. Thanks to our production in southern Sweden, we can, most likely, offer the lowest CO2 footprint on the market as our factory is 100% powered by green energy,” says CEO Oscar Hugoson.
“We can also provide CO2-e certificates on our materials and our experts will help you find the most material-smart option for your particular product.”
New addition to the product range
We have a long experience in packaging materials based on recycled raw materials. Since 2008, we have been exploring and utilizing the potential of recycled plastics in the production of packaging materials. Now we are taking a further step in the direction of updated knowledge and improved quality that we are constantly working on.
The latest addition to our high-quality recycled materials is Prevented Ocean PlasticTM (POP) rPET – a plastic made from plastic packaging collected from the ground in coastal areas around the world.
“We see that the demand for recycled materials is increasing and our ambition is to be at the forefront to offer our customers both materials and knowledge in a rapidly growing field,” says Oscar Hugoson.
